Dr Bernardo Castro Dominguez is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath and co-director of the Centre for Digital Manufacturing and Design. His expertise spans sustainable materials, waste upcycling, and membrane-based solutions for environmental challenges. He integrates AI, the internet of things (IoT) and green chemistry to develop novel climate adaptation strategies. His research advances nature-based and digital approaches to urban resilience, supporting green infrastructure (GBGI) optimization for climate mitigation.
